Volunteer Expressions - a newsletter just for Volunteers at Etown Public Library!

PROSPECTIVE VOLUNTEERS   All prospective volunteers need to complete a volunteer application form. A Library representative will then contact you to discuss specific areas of interest and your availability. If you decide to pursue volunteer service with the Library, you will need to complete and clear a criminal and child abuse background check. The cost for this is $20.00 payable to Elizabethtown Public Library. After you complete 50 hours of volunteer service you may have your $20.00 refunded or donate the money to the Library. During the orientation process you will need to sign a statement of confidentiality. The Library respects the transactions and Library activities of all Library clients. It is the responsibility of all volunteers and employees to uphold the confidentiality policy of the Library. Violation of any person's privacy is not tolerated.
